My favorite aspect of photography is making people feel beautiful in their own skin. That shimmer in a brides eye when glancing in the mirror for the first time after hair and make-up is such a rewarding feeling to me. I want to express first, that I am such a believer that personality can over-shine looks, any day. When you have both a gorgeous model and a personalty to match, images like these happen.
One thing I was certain I wanted to use during Tiffany’s Editorial session was a long, ground length veil and a location I’ve had my eye on for months. The rest of the shoot was unexpected and I feel that’s what allows our creativity to sore. I asked her to bring along a piece of tulle, which we collaborated on a giant over-sized, chic bow. She broke out a needle and thread, and in seconds, an amazing veil was born.
We wanted to make Tiffany feel exactly how she did on her wedding day. Knowing her personally before the shoot, I already knew she loved a country chic vibe. I wanted to mix both of elegance, and the care free vibe Tiffany always portrays when I meet with her. We used a necklace as a headband, explored an amazing new location with an old barn, antique tractors lawn mowers, and climbed an old school house that was overtaken by the most beautiful red ivy.
Our Editorial Bridal sessions are added complimentary to our Signature wedding collections.
